Staff Spotlight: Ethan Levy

Ethan Levy is returning for what will be his 13th year at camp. Ethan is from Mequon, Wisconsin, and during the off-season he goes to the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he just finished up his junior year studying Philosophy and Economics. At camp Ethan teaches floor hockey, football, and climbing. He is so excited for this summer at camp, and can not wait to see all of the returners and meet all of the first year campers and staff.

What advice would you give to someone coming to North Star for the first time?

To a first time member of the North Star Community, I would simply say that you should not be nervous about meeting all of the new people. Everyone at camp, both campers and counselors, are incredibly friendly, and everyone is welcomed in to camp with open arms. You should be excited about getting to meet all of the new people, because they will no doubt become friends for life.

Share one notable camp memory:

Last summer my cabin and I took a canoeing break on our trip and linked our canoes up and just told stories while floating down the river. It was amazing to be out in nature as a cabin and to be able to share stories. It was a simple but incredible moment.
