Staff Spotlight - Sam Bricker

Sam Bricker is back for his eighth summer at North Star. A resident of Deerfield, IL, Sam is a junior at Deerfield High School. Well before Sam was a student at DHS, however, he had a baby sitter by the name of Andy Shlensky. Needless to say, either Andy was a great baby sitter or Sam was a pretty resilient kid!

This past winter Sam was  in charge of DHS's annual charity drive, School Chest. The school raised over $97,000 for GLASA, the Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association. Sam is now the president of the DHS student council and is also involved with DECA (marketing club,) and also plays on the school tennis team. At camp Sam instruct tennis and disc golf.
