For those in the Chicago area, and particularly those in the City of Chicago, Dr. Wendy Mogel will be speaking on Wednesday, November 12th at 7pm at Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School. Dr. Mogel's session "will discuss how parents can raise self-reliant, appreciative children
in a nervous and entitled world. Her talk will be followed by a brief
Q&A and a book signing."
Dr. Mogel is a clinical psychologist, international public speaker and New York Times best selling author. She wrote The Blessing of a Skinned Knee and The Blessing of a B Minus. Both books help navigate some of the challenges of parenting children and teenagers and focus on raising compassionate, self reliant and ethical kids.
