Sandra Marlene Celaya Robles joins the NSC kitchen staff from Mexico. She lives in Oaxaca, studying foreign languages, Sandy likes to read, draw and cook.

What is your dream vacation?

I really like the beach, so my dream vacation will be in a quiet beach that has a lot of culture around it and many natural places to know.

A secret hobby or skill that you have?

My secret skill is that I can to make figures with balloons.

What TV show or movie are you ashamed to admit that you love?

I´m ashamed to admit that I love the tv show "the big bang theory"

If you could witness any historical event, what would you want to see?

If I could witness any historical event, I would like to witness the arrival of man to the moon.

How did you learn about North Star and why did you apply?

I knew about  North Star camp because a friend had already participated, and He told me about it and I got interested in going, because i wanted to meet new places and make new friends, also I really like to travel. 

What got you interested in cooking?

I got interested in cooking because my grand mother always has cooked very well, and I would like to cook like her, since I was a kid I always wanted to learn.

What are your favorite things to cook/bake?

I really enjoy to cook mexican food and chinese food because they are very delicious.
